3) Penetrant testing (PT) practical on ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic butt and fillet weld materials using solvent removable and water washable method. 4) Radiographic inspection of weld (pipes and plates) of varying nominal thickness and diameter using gamma source (iridium 192) for all RT exposure techniques (single wall single image -plates, panoramic, elliptical, contact and superimpose). Adhering to recommended radiographic/radiograph sensitivity, geometric unsharpness, density, exposure time, personnel safe distance, film handling, film processing, radiograph evaluation and interpretation as well as other radiation safety precautions.
