I worked with one to two other nurses. Some of the duties included gathering medications to administer to whole units while being escorted by officer. I took sick call notes and charted after pill pass was complete. I would assess and screen in new inmates. I would do FSBS every shift and administer insulin for multiple inmates. I also assisted with lab draws and dressing changes in maximum security dorm every shift. I was also there to assist with several mental health issues to include collaborating with mental health specialist on call. I also had to sort through medications and prepare them sorting out controlled substances and medications that were able to go to inmates to keep on them or that had to stay in medical.

· Some of the duties include stringing machines, checking labs reporting alert values to NP or MD. Assessing patients pre and post treatment. Educating patients about fluid, Page 2
diet, compliance with treatment, medication administration, CVC care, cannulation, monitoring access Fistula/Graft for patency. Referrals for Vascular access.
· As a clinical coordinator I am responsible for charting, new/90 day/annual/unstable patient assessments. I am also responsible for keeping track of immunizations and scheduling them. Immunizations to include covid, Influenza, PNA, TB/chest X-Rays, Engerix. I have to carefully monitor Lab Draws and plan the Engerix Series for Hepatitis. With that being said I monitor patient seating to ensure that patient have antibodies before sitting on the same side as isolation. I monitor for s/s of BSI and draw BC as needed. I participate in FHM meetings, and weekly core team meetings. I manage the anemia and adjust Iron and Epogen based from protocol.
