" I am a specialist with the sub arc machine. Very hanyd with grinders, dy grinders all pneumatic tools. I'm particularly good in 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G positions. My NDT rate is Great! 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F are pretty much position I've also masters with ease. Air arcing is a skill that I have conquered over the years. Buggo robot welding qualified. I also operate a 4G buggo robot called the "Kat" machine. This machine welds seams together in the 4G position from hot pass to cap at a fast pace with me behind the controls anyway. Awesome NDT success with this as well. There are not many welding jobs I could not perform at a high level with proficiency and accuracy. I utilize my skills also to help other in need of training or just simple refresher courses, such as: ( new or struggling Apprentices), (new sub-contractors not familiar with our system of production), (individuals having trouble with certain angles or positions), etc. In 2014 I was honored with Aker Philadelphia Shipyard Employee of the month award. This award was granted to me because of my safe working habits, high quality of work and much care for my craft.
