Job Title: Rig HSE Advisor. Rig: West Jupiter 6th Generation Drillship, Egina Field Deepwater Development Field (Drilling for TOTAL Upstream Companies of Nigeria). Date: April 2016 – June 2021

Responsibilities:

-Provide/Roll out Safety Management System to onboard Vessel Management Team and Line Management.

-Implement and maintain HSE management system, procedures and work practices and related HSE plans and bridging documents for drilling operations.

-Monitor the daily drilling activity and discuss with rig supervisors the risks for each hole section.

-Ensure the work permit/Isolation system, HAZMAT, emergency safety appliances, WAH tools, lifting equipment, dropped objects tools, MSDS-COSHH are audited weekly for compliance.

-Appointed Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to monitor all in-coming radioactive sources with survey meters to ensure no life threatens exposure onboard. Also, liaising with NNRA to ensure proper storage and use of radioactive sources.

-Prepare offshore training budget, advise management on training needs, conduct onboard trainings and maintain training Matrix.
