As an Engineering Supervisor, I have over 36 years of experience in the converting industry. Successfully demonstrated the ability to perform certain tasks in the project life cycle: purchasing, manufacturing, testing, and implementation also assisted in design. Developed converting process in the Heel Drape product for KCI. Working with customer in product design and implementing changes.
Developed a “High Speed” Strap Attach process for RFID. Worked with teams across the country as well as in Europe. IP was awarded.
Achieved 95% RTY for “High Speed” Strap Attach.
Managed Converting Operations & Cleanroom with up to 38 direct reports.
Developed process to convert labels reinserting pre-printed inlays for RFID. This process uses 3 webs, 3 dies. Currently can run @125fpm, limited by the RF tester. Process has a total of 11 webs.
Completed DoE for RFID converting.
Launched 1st Medical Device for Medical Solutions
Developed converting process for Wearable Sensors. IP was awarded.
