This letter is to express my interest in the vacant position as advertised. My name is Moses Mhlongo. I have vast administration experience and in-store staff product training experience that I acquired as Jet Club Administrator at Edcon for a period of 5 years. I first started at their Debtors Admin department for 2 years where I was a Debtors clerk, Remittance and Data Capturing and customer service champion.

I was later appointed as Jet Club Administrator where I learned a lot about planning, organizing, filing and promotions.

As part of my duties, I also worked as a customer service agent where I sold Jet Club membership to prospective customers and became a point of contact for stores and customers. In my last employment before I was retrenched due to COVID-19 pandemic, I worked at AEGIS Global Outsourcing / Startek Contact Centre where I was an advisor for Thomson Travel (TUI- UK), a British Travel Company. My duties included providing our British customers and travellers with excellent customer service; benchmarked by independent online customer surveys done daily (I was recognised as Best Achiever -2018). It was during this time that I seconded my Team Leader and was later given my own team to manage.

A year later, I was promoted to head the TUI Escalations Department as Escalations Manager where I was responsible for resolving disputes from the head office in UK, TUI Contact Centres in UK and India and also from customers. I was also responsible for communication on policy / process changes to the floor. I reported directly to management on all the issues, errors, cost incurred and all disputes resolved and how to avoid future occurrences.
