PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Project & Construction Management

Perform scheduling, resource planning for the project mechanical discipline team and ensure safety of all employees by providing HSE leadership.

Coordinate engineering work and technical input with other Discipline Leads/SMEs to ensure a complete functional project and reports on discipline progress to the management team.

Review mechanical data sheets / specifications, finalize sizing, layout, estimate capacity and power requirement for rotating equipment & systems involving rotating equipment.

Evaluate technical offers from bidders, review RFQs/Purchase requisitions, technical query sheets, Vendor documents and attend clarification meetings in co-ordination with project divisions on issues related to rotating & fixed equipment.

Participate in rotating/ fixed equipment detailed engineering design reviews, 3D models reviews, HAZOP reviews, HAZIP, feasibility & reliability RAM studies.

Reviews cross sectional drawings, BOM, EPL for spare parts requirement.

Review and verify QA/QC of all as-built project vendor documents data sheet, P&ID, IOM after MAC.

Assist contractor/vendor for the smooth and safe installation of equipment by reviewing the work method statement plan, JSA, lifting plan and GA drawing.

Inspecting machinery foundation and confirm readiness before equipment installation.

Witness machinery levelling, final shaft alignment before grouting. Review lube oil flushing, chemical pipe cleaning, steam blowing activities of pre-commissioning.

Participate in PSSR and provide punch list for nonconformance.

Review Startup procedure, duty run & performance test of rotating equipment.

Participate in motor solo run, turbine solo run, MTR, duty run, Performance tests including FAT/ SAT for acceptance of equipment based on Company requirements, project specifications and standards.

Prepare MOC, Warranty claims for new facilities.

Ensures compliances with storage, preservation and protection requirements of rotating and fixed machinery equipment’s at vendor facilities and at site.

Maintenance & Operations

Provide Proactive “health-care” and technical advice on the rotating/fixed equipment performance to various operating, engineering, projects & maintenance departments.

Preparing work scope for Striping, rebuilding, overhauling support for major rotating equipment centrifugal/screw/reciprocating compressors, steam and gas turbines, pumps etc.

Prepare & review maintenance work scope, coordinate with multidiscipline team and ensure safe completion of job within the scheduled time and budget.

Facilitate Criticality assessment and develop equipment maintenance strategy for all major critical machinery by providing risk mitigated PPM tasks to maintain plant reliability and availability.

Managing millwrights & maintenance officials for repair works. Scheduling the frequency of PPM tasks based on RCM & best practice.

Organizing reliability programs and training to maintenance department. Mentoring new staffs.

Execute, coordinate and support the maintenance activities related to the repair/overhaul, revamp, up-grade, troubleshooting and studies related to rotating and static equipment.

Develop annual/long-term budget for rotating/fixed equipment ensuring that effective utilization and control of operating and capital spare inventories by maintaining optimum levels.

To assess & review aged equipment and provide proper action plan that mitigates any risk associated with ageing to eliminate bad actor.

To assist plants in identifying solutions to the recurring chronic problems, RCFA investigation & liaise with OEM to ensure effective solutions.

Support preventive, predictive, long-term Maintenance of Rotating equipment as per industry best maintenance practice and improve rotating machinery MTBF/MTTR.

Analyse machine condition/vibration monitoring data to make recommendations for maintenance.

Specify fit-for-purpose lubrication and condition monitoring schedules.

Own machinery contracts, LTSA and relevant 3rd party relationships & provide specialist input to MOC.

Act as SME for the design and approvals for new or replacement rotating/package machinery.

Turnaround work scope

Provide leadership support to ensure execution of turnaround job scope is done in a safe, environmentally sound & cost-effective manner to support the long-term reliability of the asset.

Liaise with Operations, Engineering and other key stakeholders to review and validate scope of work order. Perform detailed planning, scheduling resources estimation and allocation, progress and performance reporting in complex process plant.

Prepare work packages for Rotating Machinery/static equipment/piping work in process units and participate in the development of the maintenance plans along with planner.

Integrate the safety reviews (JHA/FLHA/LMRA) of the work packages involving all disciplines for safe completion of jobs. Comply with all Health and Safety regulation requirements establish within the Safety Management System

Provide field and technical support to Turnaround and area teams including operations management, technical management, maintenance management, tradespeople, contractors, etc.

Respond to day-to-day / turnaround execution queries from cross-functional teams and provide updates to the Maintenance Engineering Group Leader.

Provide input and continuous improvement of the maintenance, planning, scheduling and data integrity processes and standard.
