Summary

I am a Logistics and Procurement enthusiast Professional with 5 years of working experience, presently working as an Account Officer(management information system ) with Alpha TND Limited; an emerging company in the West African Power Sector. My key expertise lies in Accounts reconciliation, Procurement of electrical and general goods, Warehouse management, voucher & payment verification, and project management. I am working towards obtaining professional certifications in Chattered Logistics and Transport by the year 2023. I am business-oriented, a servant leader, and possess good interpersonal skills.

Working Experience

Organization: Alpha TND Limited

Position: Account Officer (Management Information System)

Date: March 2021 – Present

Duties / Achievements:

Checking of payment vouchers from suppliers following the agreed contract before processing to prepare payment.

Cross-checking all invoices received from suppliers with the various physical goods received in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Benin with the various coordinators in all the countries before proceeding to book.

Coordinating with the supply chain management on supply documents from all parties.

Keeping records of all Purchase Orders, supplied quantities, payments made, and balances yet to be supplied and paid to clients against the various contracts.

Tracking of all end client's invoices in correlation with supplier's invoices received.

Updating of all reports concerning Purchases, Payments, and verification of Profit & Loss accounts of branch reports ( Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Togo ).

Review any report given and any other job assigned by my supervisors.

Quarterly physical checking of inventory as against system inventory.

Follow up with the logistics manager for on time clearing of goods to the end clients with all necessary documents for clearing (Bill of Lading, Packing List).

Position: Account Officer/ Warehouse Controller and Logistics Coordinator

Date: March 2018 – February 2021

Duties / Achievements:

Identify, investigate, document, and resolve any irregularities in the party's account.

Responsible for the procurement of all local electrical needs for Head office and housing units of the ex-pats.

Generating invoices, account statements, and reconciliation for various clients as well as identifying, investigating, and resolving any irregularities in the party's account

Oversee proper handling of Inventory. (LED, Cables, Fans, etc.)

Played a major role in training the logistics team both internal and 3PL on the best geographical routes to reduce lead time.

Periodic stocktaking of inventory.

Planning, coordinating, and assigning inventory storing in an accessible manner through item grouping and assigned items to develop leadership.

Ensuring tidiness and maintaining zero injury due to effective safety measures implemented at the warehouse.

Maintained servicing schedule and fuelling reports on trucks for monitoring consumption and identifying potential problems.

Achieved a 99% stock accuracy before handing over to my successor in January 2021.
