April 2020 Provide quality service to children from ages 1-17 years. Using the ABA approach, we uncover the child’s passions and interests and use it for motivation to learn new skills. I have worked with children in the clinic, at school, and in their home. In the clinic they have access to a variety of learning materials and equipment. As well as a chance to interact with peers to promote friendships and community. In the school I bring materials and programs to support the child to reach certain goals such as learning to pay attention, stay on task, tolerate transitions, and play with peers on the playground. In the home I assist in teaching in more familiar surroundings. The family can participate, and it is more comfortable for the child. At the end of the day, I am assisting with cleaning up and turning in appropriate documentation. I attended all the meetings and outings. I’m constantly asking questions and consistently applying feedback as well as maintaining the skill. I also passed the competency test and the RBT exam.
