I began my work with the rescue as a volunteer. I cleaned cages, l

learned husbandry and at times facilitated surrenders. Within one year, I created a media presence for the rescue and was given the title Media coordinator. I also implemented a volunteer screening, education and scheduling system in addition to streamlining the application process. At that time, I was given the title Volunteer and Adoption coordinator. When the rescue became 501(c)3 accredited, I accepted a Board of Director position.
