After meeting with a client and assessing the situation refer them to inpatient or outpatient services and or mental health services. Should a client want assistance getting on a MAT for support in their recovery process I give them options to choose from so they know the best one that would work for them. I continue support services when needed through visitation, phone calls and text messages, inspirational cards and literature through the mail. I also meet my clients in person should they want to make an appointment. I call my clients weekly just to check in on them to see if they need services. The client can engage with myself as long as they want and need services. Discussions with clients range from any factors examples, trauma related, grief process, how to start over clean, relationship issues, etc. I meet the client where they are in their life and allow them to open up with out judgement showing empathy and compassion. I support all types of pathways without bias and through my experience share how I obtained my sobriety and what worked for me. I assist with transportation when needed for recovery purposes and assist with many outreach activities in the community.

Also I create a file for each client, assuring the notes are current for each client I serve and detailed notes are written when contact is made or attempted.
