JG Design & Fab Ventura, CA 04/01/2016 - 2019
At JG Design we build and design pre -1963 hot rods . Some of the hot rods that we build are simple restorations and some of the cars are completely re-designed and modified . At JG we can swap any motor/transmission into any vehicle . At JG we design and install custom suspension . We also do a lot of custom body modifications and chop tops ( thin old dirty steel) . The hot rods that leave the shop perform and handle 1000% better then the manufacturers ever imagined .
KVA Aerospace Fillmore, CA 11/01/2014 - 01/25/2016
My day to day tasks @ KVA include lay out for forming on aluminum sheet metal air frame parts for Blackhawk, chinook, and kiowa, c-130 airframes (.025 - .063 ) . Lay out, drilling for rivet assembly . At KVA i am always dependable when it comes to doing what is necessary to fabricate parts . I have extensive knowledge with shop equipment, but that doesn’t mean i know everything, Im Iearning new things from my coworkers every day . Some of the blue prints come straight from Boeing or Lockheed. These prints take a lot of time to fully understand . When our engineers @ KVA have extra time i try and take that opportunity to have them help me interpret and understand some of the prints . I take great pride in making parts to keep these aircraft operational . I have been lucky enough to see and and coordinate with pilots that fly these aircraft when i was overseas with the US Army.
Local 273 Sheet Metal Workers Ventura,CA 06/06/2013 - 10/22/2014
