Project - 220/400 KV Switchyard O & M in kaiga Atomic Power Station at NPCIL, Kaiga
(Karnataka).
• Operation & Maintenance of Transformers 500MVA and Bus reactor (63 MVAR).
• Operation & Maintenance of 765KV & 220/400KV Breakers, Isolators & Earth Switch
• Operation & Maintenance of 220 & 48V Battery Maintenance (300Ah). Job Responsibilities:
• Project implementation, testing & commissioning, supervision of maintenance of Switch yard equipments and Control Panel Trouble shooting.
• Monitoring of Safety Precautions during operation & Maintenance.
• Condition monitoring and preventive maintenance to be carried for switch yard equipments as per the schedule.
• Supervision of maintenance Technicians and Process Operators. Major Job’s attended:
• DI unit, pole and Nitrogen accumulator replaced in 400KV CB.
• Maintenance work done in Nitrogen accumulator due to failure of NRV and Micro switch and contactor failure attend in CB.

• Scheme checking and interlock checking for switchyard and switchgear control wiring circuits.
• Commissioning of various switchyards and power plants.
• Trouble shooting in Transformer and wirings, Circuit Breaker, CT, PT and switchgear wirings.

• Special testing of Power Transformer like SFRA, TAN-DELTA and DUE POINT, Power Quality analyzer Measurement.
