Originally from Bryce Canyon City, Utah, I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner licensed in the state of Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. I have had 9 months of one-on-one training with Dr. Jeffrey Mathews and currently have worked for almost 3 years as a nurse practitioner at Southwest Spine and Pain Rheumatology Division and have over five years of experience in nursing in numerous fields, predominantly in the medical-surgical field of nursing. My choice to become a nurse and then nurse practitioner was influenced while running as a volunteer A-EMT with Garfield County Ambulance out of Bryce Canyon National Park, where I served as an A-EMT for over eight years. I am married with six children and enjoy long-distance running, hiking, and pretty much anything in the beautiful outdoors of Utah
