I have a vast experience In the healthcare field since 1979 when I started in LTC as a Nursing assistant for 3 years from 1979-1981 while attending Longwood and Southside Virginia Community Colleges. Since that time, I have worked in various capacities in everything from Respiratory therapy, special care pediatrics adults at Interim healthcare,to a community hospital as a staff RN and charge nurse for 14 years after graduating from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1984.

I have worked in LTC for 26+ years,with 20+ years at the same facility, Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehab in Dillwyn Va until starting at Westminster Canterbury Richmond in 2014.Just before Starting my job at Westminster Canterbury Richmond in 2014, I worked 6 years as the evening/night and weekend on call Nurse for Hospice of Virginia where I did admission, emergency,As needed,and scheduled visits during the day and night.

I was currently working as the night supervisor at a continuous care community in Richmond VA, Westminster Canterbury. I have been here since November 3,2014 until 2/24. I have relocated now to Mill Hall Pennsylvania.

I was the night supervisor where I supervised 23 staff in 160 bed facility as well as provided backup nursing and triage coverage in the entire campus of 800+residents in a continued Care community in Richmond Virginia. If there is ever problem or concern, I am the one to solve it.
