Plant Manager (2020 – 2022)

400 employees, responsible for all aspects of the plant including P&L.

Generated and drove process improvements, safety c/m, and implemented new expansion plans for the plant.

INTAT Precision, Inc. Rushville, IN Est. 1989

North America Casting Division of AISIN TAKAOKA, Ductile Iron Foundry Operation supplying Cast Metal Safety Critical Products (Brakes, Steering Components, Drive Components and Engine Mounts) to the Automotive Industry, Primarily NA TOYOTA NMAC's and their Tier 1 Suppliers.

VICE PRESIDENT (2011 - 2019)

Served as Member of INTAT's Board of Directors, Responsible for Directing all Manufacturing and Administration Areas of the Company reporting directly to the President and NA CEO. Total Employee head count of 530 Team Members.

Implemented and Guided Safety Initiatives throughout the Organization to promote and achieve our safety performance guidelines. (TOYOTA Step 6 Program, KYT - Hazard Prediction, Investment in Plant Innovations, and Implemented Toyota's "CHIPS" policy)

Lead Cost Reduction Activities with our President resulting in a 3 year $25 Million dollar impact to the operation.

Negotiated 2 UAW 5 year Union Contracts as First Chair, 2012 and 2017 improving labor relationship and morale within the manufacturing group, reducing grievance load by 70 percent.

Worked closely with IOSHA and the EPA to improve environmental and safety compliance

Responsible for dealing with all Legal actions involving the company with our secured law firm

Plant Engineering improvements and expansion - Installed 3rd Casting Line ($18 Million), Installed ECoat Paint Line and Die Quench Hot Stamping Operation

Developed, Initiated and Lead INTAT's new Hoshin Policy in conjunction with the President

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS (2009 - 2011)

Served as Member of INTAT's Board of Directors, Member of Executive Committee, Responsible for Directing Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality functions of the Company reporting directly to the President. Total Employee head count of 380 Team Members.

Assisted in leading the Company through very difficult times (Lehman Shock market crash, Japanese Tsunami catastrophe and Thailand Floods). Adjusted production plans and employee levels to survive.

FOUNDRY PRODUCTION MANAGER (1998 - 2009)

Responsible for Directing all Manufacturing functions of the Company reporting directly to the Vice President. Total Employee head count of approximately 280 Team Members.

Fulfilled complete Salaried personnel reallocation project to operate the Foundry throughout the 5 Week UAW Strike in 2008. Successful in operating production with 0 missed deliveries to our customers.

Successfully completed Plant 1 Foundry renovation Project in 2004 as leader of Manufacturing

Successfully completed the Plant 2 Foundry Expansion Project in 2000 as leader of Manufacturing Section.

INTAT doubled our Manufacturing capability by designing, erecting and establishing a "Mirror Image Plant"

Lead and Managed INTAT's Manufacturing Section with Metrics established though QCDSM (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale).

MOLDING/CORE GENERAL SUPERVISOR (1993 - 1998)

Responsible for Directing all Molding and Core Department Manufacturing functions of the Company reporting directly to the Foundry Production Manager. Total Employee head count of approximately 80 Team Members.

Experienced 3 Union (UAW) Organizing campaigns, finally culminating in Unionization in 1996

MOLDING SUPERVISOR (1992 - 1993)

Responsible for Supervising the 2nd shift Molding Operations of the Company reporting directly to the Molding Manager. Total Employee head count of approximately 20 Team Members.

PROCESS ENGINEER (1991 - 1992)

Worked assisting the Molding Manager to creating "Working Points" and Standard Work Procedures for Molding and Core Department Processes.

Member of TOYOTA BAMA (Bluegrass Automotive Manufacturers Association) for 14 years, Chairman of Region 4 for 8 years and served on the BAMA Board of Directors for 3 years. BAMA consists of approximately 125 direct TOYOTA Supplier Companies sharing best practices and the TOYOTA Way. I have developed many very good relationships with Toyota Management and Supplier executives

Attended AISIN SEIKI Executive Training in Japan 2013 - 7 Days

Traveled to AISIN TAKAOKA in Japan 8 times (Training, Equipment Investigation, Etc.)

Corporate member of AFS (American Foundry Society) for 28 years through INTAT Precision, Inc. Have developed very good relationships with most Foundry companies and suppliers

Promoted Community Involvement with the City of Rushville, IN and Rush County working directly with the Mayor and Economic Development Group.
