Duties/Resposibilities
• Bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise
• Preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands
• Help with getting in and out of a wheelchair, car or shower
• Help with organizing, packing or cleaning for a trip, or general house care and cleaning
• Following a care plan and noticing any changes in the individual’s health, recording and reporting any differences
• Organizing and giving medication to the individual receiving care.
• Monitoring symptoms of any illnesses or conditions that may exist.
• Caring for wounds
• Helping with pain relief (e.g. through massage)
INFANT/NEW BORN/TOODLER
• Prepare meals according to instructions provided by parents
• Feed infants on a predefined schedule and guide them to feed themselves when necessary

• Introduce infants to activities and toys aimed at the physical and cognitive development
• Manage infant’s social, emotional and physical needs
