As a QC/QA Engineer, I play a critical role in project implementation for clients/Donors to ensure standards and quality are maintained in line with international best practice. I coordinate the entire cycle of project life, from bidding stage and cost estimation of projects to planning, execution and timely delivery of projects based on clients’ specifications without compromising quality and standard. I am responsible for the supervision, physical monitoring and evaluation of construction materials as well as participate in process of trial mix of concrete (slump test temperature, air content) to ensure all physical and field test on concrete are in line with required standard and the aftermath results are reported for synthesis documentation and prompt action. I proactively envisage risks and make necessary suggestions to management to mitigate these risks. I have extensively worked in the area strategic planning and coordination and Quality Assurance and Quality Control as well as Occupation Health and Safety and systems strengthening with respect to WASH. I have proficiency with the use of Microsoft office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc), AUTOCAD, ORION and PROTASTRUCTURE. I often deploy my NEBOSH (United Kingdom) skills and experience on safety Standard of Operation at work place environment to ensure safety and mitigate risk.
