1991 to Apogee Medical Group – San Diego Thomas J. Magee MD - Hollywood 1992 Programmer Analyst. Designed and coded a patient records management, pathology imaging and insurance billing system. The system was written in 4D on a network of Macintosh computers. Integrated specialized medical instruments and data collection devices into the system. Maintained and documented the system.

1988 to Trader Publications of San Diego – San Diego 1991 Programmer Analyst. Part of a small team that developed an automated publishing system on a Motorola 850 minicomputer using Unix System/V with networked Macintosh computers. The system was written using SQL and Informix 4GL with extensions written in ‘C’ using embedded SQL. Extensions included an on-screen text editor, spell checker and lexical analyzer. Supported and maintained existing minicomputer applications during the crossover. Performed hardware and software support for networked PC’s and Mac’s. Trained and supervised one other programmer. Other: I maintain a high degree of knowledge in the computer industry. Received my Holistic Health Practitioner license (HHP) in 2004 and with that degree I have performed pro-bono work at HARP (4 years), Being Alive (special events) and was a paid employee of Scripps Healthcare for four years. While at Scripps my primary job was to help employees deal with stressful situations. I performed chair massage, visualization and meditation techniques for the employees, as well as provide nutritional advice.

District Governor (2013-2014) - Responsible for directly overseeing and managing the district’s day-to-day operations, finances (90K budget), and human resources (3,000+ active members). Lieutenant Governor Education and Training (2012-2013) - Responsibilities included planning, organizing and directing district training programs, contests and conferences for the 3,000 members of District 5 (San Diego, Imperial County and Yuma Arizona).
