This project is primary involved in modernizing the provider data management system with an enterprise model - Strategic Provider System replacing 9 regional PDM systems into a single integrated data platform

As a ETL Technical Lead I was involved in the following:

• Extract and Transform data from multiple source systems like ADLS, BLOB, CSV and SQL Server and load into Azure Synapse DB using Polybase approach.

• Design and develop of SSIS packages for all stages of ETL, stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process.

Client’s Power Team is a top wholesale energy marketer and Energy markets retail power and offers other energy-related services. Client wants to add another company on the upgraded platform. That would require new company’s financial data to be converted into WPT system. As a Senior ETL Developer I was involved in the following:

• Worked on migrating and rewriting code from Oracle DB in DB2 format.

• There are no configurations or dynamic parameterization in existing applications, so created configurations in all SSIS packages.

• Migrated all SSIS packages and Cubes from Sql server 2005 to Sql server 2008.

As a ETL and Reporting Developer I was involved in the following: July 2011 -

• New company’s data should be converted and validated prior to Go-Live.

• Need to create pre and post load validation scripts for each step to make sure we are doing correct validation in the data conversion.

• The conversion script or process will be created and utilized to do a onetime conversion for each conversion object. Finalized data sets will be provided by business and loaded by the technical team.

• Data sets will be converted and validated as a part of the initial conversion and subsequent refreshes.

• Coordinating with Data Stewards to identify and resolve the issues/mismatches occurred during the SIT/UAT stage before Go-Live.

• For small data sets or configuration items, information will be manually entered into WPT system and validated.

Atlas pulls down the Passenger Name Record (PNR) data in from the Global Distribution System (GDS) and makes the reports available to the clients as they need. Atlas Rewrite involved uplift of the entire set of Atlas applications to a combination of .NET and Java platforms.
