I began my working life as a key-punch operator for the Internal Revenue Service in 1969. The hardware was something called an IBM 029 key puncher/verifier and other than power supply was basically an all mechanical device. I completed my working life as an Information Security Analyst/user account provisioner working on an array of electronic data processing platforms in 2019 (and by completed I mean my employer chose to outsource my department offshore) including IBM Z/OS, AS400, and LANs(Active Directory) to name a few. My last job was one I had held for forty x years and even though I remained with the same department because of a series of mergers, sales, and outsourcings I have worked for the following employers during that period.:

In addition to the hands-on work mentioned above I have participated in the development and maintenance of processes instituted by the organization over the years including change and problem management, data security and audit, and training. I believe my longevity on the job is indicative of my adaptability and quality of work. I am seeking employment because I am looking to augment my fixed income and alleviate boredom.
