Senior Network Engineer

Coordinated the first and second level actions of the network engineering team, and analyzed the Samarco's computer network for continuous upgrade process by designing and coordinating special projects:

Designed and executed the project that implemented the security protocol 802.1X and Microsoft RADIUS authentication service in all Samarco's sites, including international offices. This project was one of the steps to bring Samarco into Sarbane-Oxley (SOX) standard. Cisco SW 3500 and ISR 4000

Designed and managed the project that redefined the security perimeter of Samarco's global network. The project was Responsible to deploy Checkpoint Firewalls, creating two secure and physical separated internet traffic entrances, operating in a load balance mode.

Designed and managed the integration between the corporate Plane-old Switched Telephone Network (PSTN Siemens) and Cisco Unified Communication solution. This project reduced 35% of telephony costs and had a pay time of just one year.

Lead Software Architect - Electronic Payment Transaction System

Analyzed and designed the electronic transaction process of Banescard credit/debit card system. Analyzed the security requirements and designed the Banescard PIN and password management process, using a Hardware Security Module (HSM). Analyzed and executed performance improvements of the electronic transaction system. Designed and specified the computing infrastructure (servers and network devices) for the electronic transaction system.

Designed the integration process of the secure electronic credit transaction function in Banestes electronic transaction system, providing 1,800,000 credit transactions per month (2,500 per hour);

Designed the Point of Sale software (for Igenico and Verifone hardware) that integrated the multiple Banestes' card based products - debit, credit, food ticket, and personal insurance.

Designed the total decoupling between electronic transaction tasks and the balance and reporting tasks in Banescard system.

Improved the software concurrency aspects of the Banescard transaction system to treat special commercial dates, increasing the Banescard to 4,680,000 transactions per month (6,500 per hour)

Improved the software concurrency aspects of Banescard Bach task/jobs processing system of Banescard, reducing the total processing time from 12 hours to 4 hours using the same computing infrastructure.

AcelorMittal Tubarão - Brazil (2003 – 2006 part time- day shift)

Founded in 1983, ArcelorMittal Tubarão is an integrated flat steel producer unit located in the Vitoria Metropolitan Area, state of Espirito Santo, southeast coast of Brazil.
