PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

July 2021 – Present. Eaton Corporation. Warehouse Shipping Clerk. Loading and unloading trucks, sorting, staging, and transporting products. This includes labeling airway bills, shipment numbers, destination, and an any other special requirements using a variety of different software programs.

Dec. 2018 – April 2021. Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Lead – Kuehne and Nagel, El Paso. This Warehouse Lead position is a key component of the company and requires responsibility for loading and unloading trucks, sorting, staging, and transporting products. This includes labeling airway bills, shipment numbers, destination, and an any other special requirements using ‘Zebra Design” programs. After programs are complete and labels are placed in their correct location, we proceed to loading, using the RF radio frequency gun, ensuring complete scanning of all the merchandise. Once this is done, we load 44 pallets, with dimensions 55 x 47 x 49 into the trailer. This creates the “Bill of Lading”, using Microsoft Excel. This notifies the appropriate carriers that the shipment is ready for pickup. The position requires working effectively with other Associates, vendors, and transportation carriers, and effective time management skills that are critical to meet assorted deadlines. That responsibility requires a full understanding of concern to minimize errors in warehouse management, satisfying all vendors and suppliers in shipping and receiving, with good inventory control management.

June 2017 – November 2018. Warehouse Associate – Kuehne and Nagel, El Paso.

Conduct Warehouse operations within the facility carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, scanners, or other material handling equipment. As a licensed forklift operator, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements in handling a variety of different products housed in the facility, ensuring proper records are maintained, efficiently and accurately.

Jan. 2017 – May 2017. Customer Services – Alorica West El Paso. Responsible for customer help support of Direct TV customer services and products sold throughout the country served as a Call Center employee. April 2016 – December 2016. Materials Handler/Assembler working for PDS Services, contractor for Boeing, with local warehouse assembly located in El Paso, Texas. Trained for 6 weeks in assembling modular units for Boeing aircraft, which was for both military and commercial transport. Support services included delicate assembly of multiple electronic units including wiring and soldering, working with instructions by the company engineers under extremely strict layouts that involved multiple inspections for quality control.

June. 2015 – Dec 2015. Associate Services Support – Xerox Corp. in El Paso. Responsible for customer help support of Xerox services and products sold throughout the country served as a Call Center employee. Answered customer complaints or concerns on made to the company 24/7, with varied work schedules each week. Accurate data and adherence to good communications to customers were imperative.

Mar. 2015 – May 2015. O/R Supplies Coordinator – Las Palmas Medical Center.

The OR Supply Coordinator ensured effective and optimal supplies were available for the hospital. This included proper inventory levels, working with OR staff and physicians for specific quality supplies requests. The functions of the position included recording purchase requests and ensuring all receipts for those supplies are consistent with the purchase orders, as specified in the delivery. Organized the stockroom to ensure good access to products and merchandise, while facilitating good accountability and organizing the needed medical supplies appropriately. The position required to be on call as needed, with a flexible working schedule.

Performed clerical and physical labor associated with receiving, inspecting, marking, storing, and issuance of materials, equipment, supplies, and/or services required to support University activities while maintaining records of all transactions. Performance is subject to review by the State Auditor’s Office, Internal Auditor, and Director of Purchasing. Activities are accomplished safely and in accordance with all pertinent rules, directives, regulations, laws, and common sense associated with the warehouse environment. Responsible for identifying all incoming shipments to the University, in conformity with state purchase orders, and required specifications or verbal orders to ensure the quality of the shipment. Responsible for maintaining purchase orders, shipping tickets, and receiving reports for accountability and payment. Responsible for outgoing shipments by properly crating, forklift tasks, packing, and weighing.
