Senior Software Engineer Jul 2011 – Dec 2014

I was involved in the design of a Power Supply for the CDS and ARINC 429 transmitter LRU on board the KC46 aircraft at the systems / HW / SW level.

Worked on the design portable and installed OBOGs units in private aviation. This design is based on a Smartfusion ARM Cortex M3, driving a compressor and air through a sieve bed. Measurements of pressure, O2 concentration and PPO2 are performed.

Visual C# applications for the IT department to allow drawing release and numbering.

Worked on the certification of code for two DO178B level B&C projects with requirements in Doors for DO-178 and DO-254

In this role I performed verification and implemented tables to show forward and backward tracing from specification requirements & test. Performed structural coverage and wrote test cases and analyzed dead code.

Worked on the life-support package in the Boeing F15SA. The control of oxygen used a TI 320F DSP and a Silicon Labs 8051F021.

I wrote and conducted software testing for HALT, QTP/ATP, salt/fog, and vibration as part of DO-160. I wrote the appropriate reports for our customer Boeing and did failure analysis on the failed units.

I have fully utilized I2C, SPI, SCI, ADC's, PWM peripherals on the DSP. Have an in depth understanding of Low Power Modes and the hardware and software required to meet power budgets.

This GUI application can be run manually or in fully automated mode to test individual components, or complete system verification of an embedded control system. Configuration and report files were generated in XML.
