An Instrumentation and Controls Engineer with over 12 years professional experience spanning the Oil and Gas, Metals & Mining, manufacturing and Power generation fields. WORK EXPERIENCE

June 2017 – present Instrumentation Engineer

MODEC – Ghana.

• Providing Engineering support to the Offshore Team, to achieve and maintain the technical and performance integrity of the FPSO Facility, in the following areas, to ensure Performance Standards requirements are met.

- General Field Instruments (PCS & SIS Transmitters)

- Fire & Gas (PGDs, OGDs, VFDs, FDs, SDs, AFDS)

- Controls System (Yokogawa Centum VP; ProSafe)

- Fiscal Metering (Crude Offload, Gas Export, Gas Import, Delta V Supervisory System, KIMMS)

- Marine & Telecom Systems. (VHP/UHF Radio system, PAGA, PABx, CARS, TPMS, ACAMS, etc)

• Ensuring programmed Instrument and Control PMs are carried out according to the Maintenance Strategy, with the aid of the CMMS (Maximo).

• Ensuring Fiscal Metering maintenance, calibration and certification integrity is maintained and Quarterly reports to Government regulatory body (Petroleum Commission) are prepared and submitted in a timely manner, and any queries addressed adequately.

• Providing the Offshore Team, Engineering change support for the Facilities systems including production process control systems, utility and marine systems by identifying, developing, and completing Management of Change processes for all Instrumentation & control related systems. This process includes initiation and review of the design in relation to engineering standards and specifications (eg Hazardous Area Standards IEC 60079 / BS EN 60079, Functional Safety IEC 61508 & 61511), Risk Assessments, implementation and closeout with the necessary marked up drawings, Engineering Calculations and other relevant documentation.

• Analyzing SD loss reports findings and exploring opportunities for improvements to enhance Plant availability and boost production.

• Instrumentation department budgeting and Budget Management.

• Vendor management comprising scope identification, vendor engagements, mobilization and project management.
