Monitor plant process manually and on SCADA.
Maintenance and operation of laboratory instruments (turbidity meter, pH meter) Adjust chemical dosoges with reference to raw water turbidity. Job request preparation.
Perform practical investigations on equipment to improve efficiency. Daily equipment inspection to check if they function accordingly. Back washing filters manually or using a SCADA.
Conducting jar tests weekly to determine optimum plant dosage. Worked closely with Process Controller to develop more technical skills. Analysis of water samples from clarifiers, floatation tanks, filters and pure water from reservoirs for pH, colour, chlorine and turbidity.
