Rigger

Working alongside the heavy lift crew for critical lifts.

Installation of structural steel, mechanical and piping equipment. (Jacket Constructions, Modules etc., )

Ensure all hands are free of lifting tackle and stand clear before the load strain is taken.

Check the lifting equipment being used is in good condition, certified for use correctly color coded, and of sufficient capacity to carry out lift.

Working at heights from elevated work platforms and Scaffold structures.

Operate forklifts and other equipment’s.

Select gear such as slings, shackles, Chokers and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules.

Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.

Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials.
