1. Project Title: Analysis and estimation of coefficient of discharge of Multi hole orifice plate using CFD Simulation.
Description: The project has been completed under the guidance of my eminent assistant professor Mr. Amit Kumar during Post Graduated program. In this project, we designed an orifice meter which consists of multiple holes having same equivalent area to normal orifice plate with aim to improve over their flow characteristics, reduction in pressure losses, and inaccuracy of flow measurements and coefficient of discharge by using CFD fluid simulation on ANSYS Software. 2. Project Title: Paper cutting machine using Geneva Mechanism The project is completed in collaboration of six member team at college level
(B.Tech), under the guidance of assistant professor Mr. Dhruve Prasad (Department of mechanical engineering).
In this project, we analysed the unique function of Geneva wheel used to convert rotary motion to intermittent motion and casted it as per required dimension at workshop.
Aim of this project is to provide exact length of feed to paper to be cut; hence project is successfully implemented to model and presented. Gained knowledge of thinking and innovative idea in term of energy valuation as well as improve efficiency of any mechanical system which is working on any type of source of energy.
