In-vivo activity studies for the synthesized compounds like anti-inflammatory activity.

Antimicrobial activity and structure activity relationship of different heterocycles was studied. Some of the lead molecules have also been evaluated for their antimicrobial and antioxidant activities.

A variety Michael adducts were prepared to explore the Michael addition of various active methylene compounds to a variety of unsaturated sulfones.

The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition methodology was used to develop mixed bisheterocycles viz., bis pyrroles, pyrazolines and isoxazolines.

Different ketene dithiolates were explored for the development of different five and six membered heterocycles.

Symmetrical and unsymmetrical oxadiazoles, thiadiazoles and triazoles were developed utilizing synthetic viability of different substrates.

Interconversion of heterocycles viz., conversion of oxadiazoles to thiadiazoles and triazoles was successfully accomplished in the presence of appropriate nucleophiles.

A new class bis heterocycles pyrazolyl oxadiazoles were developed from multi functional synthetic intermediate adopting 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition and cyclocondensation methodologies.

One pot methodology for five membered heterocycles viz., 2-oxazolines and 2- thiazolines was developed exploiting Samarium chemistry. PUBLICATIONS:
