This is my part time job mostly on weekends and sometimes nightshifts. Test Covid samples using Polymerase chain reaction (PCR). From doing extraction to interpreting the results on the PCR.

Perform complex chemical tests on animal feeds and water samples as part of the quality assurance. Set-up lab equipment’s and prepare chemical solutions, calibration standards, samples, and reagents for analysis according to the SOPs. interpret and analyze data following the SOPs

Use instruments such as Spectrometer, ICP, NIR and Chromatography.

Maintains appropriate records to meet internal requirements as well as ISO 9001 and 17025

Convey results to data entry via LIMS, daily report forms, and excel spreadsheets and suggests improvements in quality and existing analytical methods.

Consistently conducts successful training of new lab staff on various methods.

[2017-2018]: Chemistry Tutor (first year students), university of Pretoria. As a first year chemistry tutor, I helped a group of first year chemistry students with chemistry. I spend few hours on a weekly, basis to transfer my chemistry expertise to students.
