Work History
Wellbenders Directional Services Aug 2018 - Aug 2019 Directional Driller / MWD (One man operation usually)-Directional Drilling S Curves, Tangents, and the occasional sidetrack. I have sat in and built two curve/laterals. Visually inspect, strap, and prepare BHA with proper documentation prior to picking up. Maintain documentation of drilling activity, including daily reports, survey lists, BHA reports, and invoices/shipping tickets. Assemble, program, and test MWD and surface gear. Relief Driller / Derrick hand / Floor hand-Learning how to drill and recognize down hole conditions. Learning how to run rig and key points to pay attention to. Learning importance of mud weights and the effects it can have on your well conditions. Learning equations used to calculate variants commonly used in drilling engineering and practice. Clean and service rig. Inspect and maintain tools, check and condition mud, inspect pumps, prepare equipment for trips and preventative maintenance. Assist third party truckers with loading/unloading and rigging up / rigging down. Tourly sheets and equipment inspections, along with parts lists done weekly.
Inspect pumps and equipment regularly. Provide maintenance whenever necessary. Pull apart and inspect mud pumps during casing, rig up pits in preparation for cement and displacement. Build mud and handle all fluid transfers between backyard and pits. Clean and maintain shakers. Check valves for leaks and prepare for maintenance when possible. Prepare backyard for rig down / rig move. Relieve driller whenever necessary.
Casedhole Solutions August 2012 – August 2014
Wireline Operator-Clean, inspect, and provide preventative maintenance to trucks and cranes. Load/unload various downhole tools for current job. Clean, inspect, and rebuild tools regularly. Build and test guns for perf runs and properly handle and store explosives caps when going on frac jobs. Often compare bond logs with drilling logs. Diagnose tool failures including computer system issues and ground faults. Occasionally calculate for max pull and working tight hole when running tools. Identify signs of downhole conditions and how to handle them. Properly opening and closing well and recognizing well conditions.

Field Hand(CAM Technician / Casing Hand)Clean, inspect, and service equipment after each job. Stage and prepare necessary equipment for jobs. Load and unload equipment, inspect trucks and drive out to job location. Rig up / rig down and run casing. Diagnose and replace malfunctions in CAM equipment whenever necessary, and ensure job goes as smoothly as possible. Fill out field tickets after rig down before heading home. On call 24/7 and able to work 25+ hours straight. Keep DOT logbooks up to date.
