Responsibilities and Activities

Conduct the safety training for the Company Employees

Ensure the provision of fire Extinguisher, gas monitors, first Aid boxes at site wherever necessary

Participate in client safety meetings to discuss safety matters.

Strict implementation of HSE rules at the site

Enforce a “No Smoking” policy throughout the duration of project

Keep workers, Inspectors and the safety officers informed regarding the updates of projects

Observe physical condition of work, work practices and procedures followed by workers

Monitor accidents and investigated the cause for the accident & implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Monitoring of site housekeeping, material handling and overall safety system

Ensured that plant machinery and their operator are tested & certified

Regular conducting periodically safety audits

Execute extra safety measures during any process such as welding and fabrication etc.

Prepare safety reports on site as per the requirements of client as well as the company manual

Observe physical condition of work, work practices and procedures followed by workers

Maintain records relating to accidents, dangerous occurrences and industrial diseases

Close follow-up inspection & supervision of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment’s)

Inspection of ladders, safety barriers during excavation of work, closely watched fire blankets during welding jobs

Inspection of safety barricading during X-rays of weld joints in night shifts

Identify unsafe action, unsafe condition and immediate rectification of the same before any incident occurs

Ensure a “Fire watch” is provided during all “Hot work” operations (i.e. cutting, welding)

Ensuring that potable heating equipment’s is placed on non- combustible flooring or platforms, fueling shall be done out of the buildings

Arrange 1st aid post at Project and work as 1st aid staff

Control and monitor safety of scaffolding & ladders

Monitoring and ensuring safe work activities at site

Inspection of safety harnesses

Daily inspection of scaffolding and rectifying the things on the spot
