Assisted the Owner – Warren Winiarski and his son, Stephen in the Construction Department while building the 1st ever Underground Wine Caves in Napa, CA.
Prepared all Construction Documents, Contracts, Purchase Orders, Submittals, RFI’s, AIA Architects Billings, administrating all Change Orders and Punch List items. Provided Daily Work Orders and following up to make sure the work was completed as directed for the following Winery Departments – Construction, Landscaping, Maintenance, Visitor’s Center, Winiarski Residence, SLV House and Barn, Cellar, Lab, Hospitality and Public Relations. Responsible for all Daily Job Site Photos. Worked on the Safety Committee Team and relaying possible violations to the Department Crew Leaders.
Procuring all Construction Permits through Napa County and scheduling all Inspections.
Setting up Weekly Onsite Construction Meetings with Architects, County Officials and Subcontractors making sure all proper video and audio equipment was in order and all food and wine was in place for the meetings.
Six Months out of every year Stephen Winiarski would leave the winery for his surfing business in Baja, I would run the Construction Department solely by myself with weekly conference calls for updates on schedules and financial budgets.
