Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master – Professional Liability & Life Insurance Systems - January 2004 – December 2011.

Manage/Facilitate the migration of Affinity’s Legacy (AS/400) Policy Processing systems to a Global web based .Net system using an Agile Scrum Methodology.

Lead daily Scrum meetings with all team members both on-shore & off shore. (Developers, Testers, Business Analysts and Business owners)

Lead weekly status meetings with all Project Stakeholders, and monthly Steering Committee meetings with Senior Management from IT and Business areas.

Worked with the Product Owner in the creation and prioritazation of the Product Features Backlog List and determed the items to be included in each Sprint.

Responsible for the Management/Overseeing of Business Analysis’s for Requirements Gathering, and Management/Overseeing Testing teams for Unit & Systems testing using off-shore teams and Coordinating User Acceptance testing with the various Business units.

Managed the implementation of an imaging project for the Accountant’s Division using IMS/21. This included the development of our own work flow process. Managed the acceptance testing for migrating the AS/400 production & development environments from Hatboro facility to CSC’s facility in Chicago.

Senior Project Manager – Affinity International Systems Services February 2001 – January 2004

Managed the development and deployment of an International Insurance Administration System. The systems are developed to support a Direct Response Marketing Operation, offering voluntary insurance programs via a multi-channel distribution strategy, telemarketing, direct mail, and electronic trading. To date, systems have been deployed in the UK, Madrid Spain and Sao Palo Brazil. Responsibilities also included Management/Overseeing of Business Analysis’s for Requirements Gathering, Management/Overseeing Testing teams for Unit & Systems testing and Coordinating User Acceptance testing with the various Business units.

Project Manager - eBusiness Solutions June, 2000 – February, 2001

Managed the development of the Customer Connection web site for a leading Marketing client, using Allaire’s Spectra and Cold Fusion products. The web site was developed in 10 weeks, using CHC’s Rapid Application Development methodology. Microsoft Project 2000 was used extensively to manage and report status on the project.

Computer Technology Associates, Inc. (CTA) – Bethesda, Maryland

Project Executive – Systems Integration August, 1998 – June 2000

Assumed control of a distressed project and recovered it to become a successfully managed 18-member conversion/upgrade effort for a leading Transportation Authority. This project included the remediation and testing of the client’s application portfolio as well as system software and hardware. A custom methodology to take advantage of work previously completed was developed and implemented. Microsoft Project 98 was used extensively to manage and report status on the project. This project generated $6.3 million dollars of service revenue.

Managed a 12-member readiness assessment project for a leading temporary services company. This project generated $2.5 million of service revenue.

Managed a successful assessment project for a leading international food manufacturing company. This project generated $1.3 million dollars of service revenue.

IBM - GLOBAL SERVICES - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey

Project Manager – Systems Integration practice December, 1996 to July, 1998

Managed a nine-member team to conduct a successful infrastructure assessment project for a leading international personal care products manufacturing company. This project was completed in a 5-month time frame, and within budget. As a result of the success of this project, IBM was invited to participate in the remediation of this client's portfolio. Microsoft Project was used extensively to manage and report status on the project. This project generated $2.5 million of service revenue.

Successfully managed a six-member team of consultants performing a multi-tier application assessment project. This project generated $1.5 million of service revenue.

TRECOM BUSINESS SYSTEMS, Inc. - Edison, New Jersey

Testing/QA Manager - Quality Assurance January, 1996 – December, 1996

Provided leadership ensuring the quality and integrity of a new Driver History system for the Department of Motor Vehicles - State of New Jersey. The system was developed in a PC/LAN environment. Responsibilities included code review and testing for compliance to standards as well as migration to an IBM 3090 Mainframe environment.

CIGNA CORPORATION - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Project Manager, CIGNA Information Services 1992 – 1995

Provided leadership and coordination for client teams converting client data requirements into CIGNA’s Automobile & Homeowners Insurance systems. This included the development of test plans, as well as task and problem tracking and reporting. Off-platform program development and unit testing were completed in a PC/LAN environment. Applications were migrated to the mainframe for integrated system testing utilizing standard life cycle methodologies.

Led development of CIGNA's system enhancements for the Insurance Service Office (ISO) 1993 Personal Automobile Statistical Plan rewrite. This major rewrite of the statistical sub-system for the Personal Automobile system expanded most existing output data elements and generating several new elements. The timely delivery of this system provided CIGNA with a marketing advantage to attract companies not wanting to invest in modifying their own systems.
