Hard worker who considers himself a team player.

I consider myself a team player and believe that communication is key in any field of work especially in the construction trade.
• Safety is first and foremost on any and all jobs, no matter how big or small.
• I am eager to work with fellow colleagues and I am always "up to" learning something new. I feel that someone who thinks that they know it all is ignorant. There is always room for improvement.
• I also believe that safety comes first. It might not just save my life, but also that of fellow coworkers.
• I take pride in my work. I metal stud frame as if I'm the one who will be hanging the drywall. I hang drywall as if I will be the one finishing it, etc. etc.
• I want to earn the respect of fellow coworkers along with that of my foreman. I want to be "that guy", that the others say "I want him on my crew".
• I feel a sense of accomplishment after putting in a hrad days work. Authorized to work in the US for any employer

Did not leave in best of terms with a specific superintendent, which you could ask Norman Zimm or Matt Fiasco about and see that's it's not just me. We lost probably a dozen guys because of this guy. There comes a time when one cannot stand the "BS". He made sure that his hand full of guys stayed busy while others were laid off. But I can provide multiple references on my behalf. Willing to work long and hard hours. Hopefully work m "way up the ladder". I take great pride in my work and my ability to work with others.

Superintendent of Construction
Virtexco Corporation - New Bern, NC
August 1995 to June 2007
Oversee daily operations/production of subcontractors along with own work force. Along with working "hands on" with company work force. Mostly on military facilities.
Read and follow blueprints and oversee the subcontractors along with own work force to be sure things are done by the prints, along with the submittals, and on time with satisfaction from Project managers and customers. Not to mention on or under costs, and on or before scheduled time allotted. By far, working with Virtexco was my favorite job. Learned a lot about the commercial building aspect just not from a subcontractors point of view, but that of a General Contractors aspect of the work. Started off as a metal stud foreman and worked my way up to running my own jobs. The last job that I did for them was a $3.4 million high school addition. Which was completed on time and below budget with no loss of man hours due to accidents.
for which I took pride.

I am very grateful to my brother for giving me the opportunity to learn this trade, to read blueprints, do "take offs", and to deal with and associate with the architect and the home owners, the building inspectors, along with that of our own work force and the subcontractors. Education
