ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES

● Obtaining comprehensive information about the disease, performing a list of works and services for diagnosing the disease, assessing the patient's condition and the clinical situation.

● Determination of the need for special research methods (laboratory, radiological, functional, etc.).

● Determination of indications for hospitalisation and its organisation.

● Carrying out differential diagnostics, substantiation of clinical diagnosis, scheme, plan and tactics of patient management.

● Evaluation of the data of the electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, phonocardiogram, heart sounding, X-ray examination data and giving an opinion on them.

● Determination of the degree of hemostasis disturbance, indications for thrombolytic therapy and the implementation of all measures to normalise them

● Appointment of necessary medicines and other therapeutic measures. 8. Determination of the volume of rehabilitation measures and prevention for patients with cardiovascular pathology.

● Determination of the scope of treatment and rehabilitation of patients after operations on valves and vessels of the heart and implantation of pacemakers.

● Determination of the proper amount of advice and treatment correction.

● Registration of the necessary medical documentation.

● Management of the work of subordinate middle and junior medical personnel.

● Drawing up a report on their work, conducting its analysis.

● Compliance with the rules and principles of medical ethics.

● A cardiologist diagnoses and carries out the necessary treatment for the following diseases:

-Myocardial disease

-Arterial hypertension and hypotension

-Cardiac ischemia

- Heart defects

-Diseases of the endocardium, pericardium

- Violation of the rhythm and conduction of the heart

-Atherosclerosis

-Circulation failure

-Heart damage in endocrine diseases

- Damage to the cardiovascular system with

-Pulmonary heart: acute, chronic.

-Injuries and tumours of the heart.

-Heart damage in systemic diseases:

-collagenosis

-amyloidosis.

-Features of cardiovascular pathology in elderly people.

-Emergencies in cardiology

-diagnostics and therapy of emergency conditions (shock, collapse, pulmonary edema, pulmonary embolism, rupture of the interventricular septum, syncope, hypertensive crisis, tachycardia, bradycardia, MES);

-resuscitation in cardiology.

- data of radioisotope research methods;
