Wellness Warehouse Campaign: My role was to make people aware of a new store opening by handing pamphlets out.

Pringles Event: This job was to hand pringles out. There were competitions for people to participate in that would give them the chance to win a can of pringles.

DSTV promotion: The task was to persuade customers to buy a DSTV set or upgrade the subscriptions.

2018

Kellogg’s Promotion: During the promotion, there were several setups in various locations. The aim was to pass different forms of Kellogg’s treats out.

Pringles In-store Promotion: In this promotion, I had a specific target to meet by selling the new tortilla chips. I also had to engage with customers which boosted my capability of communicating with people from diverse backgrounds. 2019

Voltaren 94.7 Cycle Promotion: In my department, my duty was to give people energy and directing them to the place where they could test the Voltaren gel. Page 2

Tanqueray: For this alcohol activation my role was to hand out free samples to customers to try the new Tanqueray Sevilla out.

Mama Magic Baby Expo: During this summer show, I had to take on several roles for the baby expo. I had to ensure my department had different setups every day, demonstrate the pampers diaper against the competitors diaper and take pictures of customers in the photo booth.

2020

DSTV in store activation

YOCO exchange: For this campaign I had to engage with SME owners and demonstrate how the YOCO machine operates. I also gave limited complementary gifts out. PROMOTER, RETAIL INSIGHT

2017

Elemis In store campaign: My role for this campaign was to attract customers by booking them for Elemis treatments.

Sasol Cinema: During this activation, I was booked to interact with customers and hand out cinema packages.

2018

DSTV in store and outdoor activation.

Telkom Idols Audition: For this interesting campaign, I had an opportunity to interact with the Idols cast. I had to hype up the crowd and help the crowd to participate in games in order to calm their nerves.

Chanel: This campaign was challenging because I had to sell as many Chanel perfumes as possible. This campaign taught me patience, understanding and commitment. CALL CENTRE AGENT, PLATINUM LIFE INSURANCE

2020

I started working at Platinum Life from June until July as a call centre agent. My responsibility was to reach daily targets and make people aware of what the company offers. I was creating cancer awareness and sending promotional gifts which included a cancer cover. All of these were telephonic-based referrals. It was challenging because I had to handle different clients with different strategies. I learned the art of patience and perseverance in this journey.

I worked briefly at ADB Safegate as a filling clerk. My responsibility was to arrange and file specific documents together. I had to organize documents, ensure the information is correct and easy to find as well as uploading electronic documents. 2021

I started working as a Personal Assistant for Ntokozo Shezi through the company IWCP an affiliate of Liberty. I had several roles to fulfill. My main role was to prospect multiple clients and secure appointments. This was based off referrals and getting my own clients. This was all telephonic based. This taught me how to communicate effectively, gave me more insight on industry knowledge and time management. It helped me gain more independence.
