Experimental Investigation on Concrete Using Manufacturing sand (M-Sand) May 2018

Quarry Dust is a waste from the stone crushing unit accounts 25% of the final product from stone crushing. This Quarry dust which is Released directly into environment can cause environmental pollution

To reduce the impact of the quarry dust on environment and human, this wastes can be used as a admixture in concrete

Myself with a team of four decided to use quarry dust as a partial replacement of natural sand in concrete for studying the hardened strength properties of concrete

Replacement of manufacturing sand is done by (100%) and kept for observation. Later, Concrete mixes were tested for compressive strength and split tensile strength replaced by manufacturing of sand and compared

Thus, the strength values are high compared to natural concrete
