I started working for Graham Packaging Mar.8, 2016. It is a fairly new facility. I was the first Production Material Handler hired into Material handler four Production lines. I also helped the warehouse in the start-up of the plant. I was later sent to (Train The Trainer Forklift Operator Safety Training Course). So that I could certify other lift drivers in the Bowling Green Plant. I changed position to (Autefa Operator) which the operator sets a machine to stack, band and palletize products for four different palletized products coming off production lines. Then I moved to (Blend Operator), which blends Materials and supplies all blend and all raw materials going to the production line. Pit operator this position was to ensure the product was being labeled properly and meeting all specifications intravis. My job was to make sure all blenders are set at the right blend percentage and color changing material for 4 production lines by reading (BOM) Bill of Materials. My current role is Blow Mold Operator, I’m in charge of the operations of the whole production line. I ensure the product is running at SOC and Quality of the product and keep all sections of the line running, while keeping up with the hourly production numbers, checks and tests of the product and vision systems to inspect to make sure that they are working properly. I also have to make any adjustment to the blow molder, to make sure the product is a good quality product for the customer. I have to track hourly inputs, outputs, yield loss, efficiency rate visual inspection, gage id, E wall thickness, wall balance, parison air flow, Techne process, water dip test, water vacuum test, adhesion test, vision challenge, spigot challenge, dose cup challenge, choke neck camera challenge, metal detector once a day, perform Daily PM on blow molder, hourly rates, moee, time up and time down, the impact, duration of time and summary, bottle weights and tail weights and enter all checks in the computer. Every four hours I would have to check the labeler process and enter in pre-flame air flow, pre-flame gas flow, post-flame gas flow, post-flame air flow, inflation air regulator, inflation air flow meter, web vacuum pressure, web vacuum comp. air pressure, web tension, air knife pressure, pre-heat temperature, platen pressure, platen temperature and web phase position. I would also have to check all settings to the blow molder and blenders and enter into the computer, which were, check parison ! weight and parison 2 weight, extruder speed, 8 different mold positions, constant air flow 1 & 2, parison air 1 & 2 pre blow air and blender settings. I gave the Shift Supervisor updates, on the status of how the line is running and performing every hour or if there are any issues to report. I also had to have a daily meeting with the Management Team and Supervisor to report the line's performance within the last 24 hours. I worked for Lord Corporation for 17 years & 7 months. My job duties there were the following: I had to read customer picklist, material handle, quality checks, fill and label orders per customer labeling requirements and packaging requirements and accuracy. Stock incoming materials and locate safely,so the order puller can pull safely, perform audits, print and perform inventory and make any corrections that need to be corrected, do quality checks, housekeeping and also take care of whatever shipping issues that may arise. Other duties were to training new employees, read routing instructions, read orders, pick, pull, load and unload trucks, load hazardous waste trucks, prepare overseas shippments and prepare truck shippments, ship orders, UPS, FEDEX, LTL and Expedited freight, quality checks, data entry, use microsoft excel, word, bill truck shipments, read ship dates, dispatch trucks, third party billing, collect, C.O.D. and prepaid billing. Print customers labels, production labels, audit’s, cycle counts, locate materials, use computers and handheld scanner guns. Also rotating leading the daily team meetings and participating in lean manufacturing and 5s projects. EDUCATION
