In this position I held the responsibility for all aspects of a busy Home Health Care Agency. Our Team developed new processes which were implemented by delegation and oversight under my leadership. Customer satisfaction, Employee relations, HR, payroll, compliance, DOH regulations, Employee Recognition, terminations as needed, corp reports, staff meetings as well as QI meetings every quarter with members of community which consisted of consumers, RNs, and an MD. I also worked closely with our marketing executive to ensure costumers and potential employees were reached. In this business, our employees are our product. I always say “A business is only as good as the employees that work for you”

‘‘The keys to a successful business are Great employees, Great communication and a Great respect for what they do,” (the 3 Gs of a successful business) My employees worked hard because they knew I cared.

In doing this I had to use all manor of office equipment as well as Microsoft word and Excel., Zoom for conducting meetings.

Communication

I have conducted meetings to the hospital staff and other agencies around the area to promote Home Care and let them know what we could do for them and our community.

I have also worked very closely with OFA, NY Connects, VA, Fidelis, VNA as well as private insurance companies to obtain

Authorizations, Care plans and resolving billing/payment

discrepancies.

Leadership

Under My leadership Elmira/CareGivers won the 2017Kellog sales award. The last time that the Elmira office was honored with this award was 1997.

I believe a good leader is not afraid to “get their hands dirty” so to speak and willing to get into the trenches to show all that I am not asking you to do something that I would not do myself.
