SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

• Implement established company procedures, policies and work instructions to promote safety.

• Providing Safety Induction Course for the new employees in co-ordination with Client HSE Department.

• Deal with Work Permits.

• Monitor work permits shall be obtained prior to any work commencing and work shall be carried out in accordance with specific measures itemized on the permit.

• Implementing safe system of work.

• Identify potential hazards by continuous monitoring and developing adequate preventive measures.

• Issue safety violations notices / memo of dangerous occurrences and practices.

• Ensure the proper usage of safety check lists.

• Implement Company HSE Policy and Procedures.

• Maintain adequate documentation.

• Carryout daily inspections of assigned areas, monitor site conditions, work practices and safety compliance. Ensure that unsafe work condition practices are corrected by supervisor.

• Coordinating and arranging all monthly HSE meeting at site management level.

• Attending weekly, monthly, and emergency meetings with clients and report on company safety performance.

• Conduct safety talks on regular basis and ensure they are being done in a professional and capable manner. Maintain record of all training and attendance for audit purpose.

• Make sure the basic welfare facilities at site like; Basic first Aider, Shaded Rest Area, cold water, emergency vehicles, toilet, full PPE, emergency numbers with all work force, and emergency evacuation procedure etc.

• Conducting periodic inspection of both fixed and hand-held power tools.

• Inspection of light and heavy vehicles, equipment and getting clients approval.

• Planning for disposal of waste being generated on day-to-day basis.

• Conducting Safety Trainings & other motivation programs.

• Participating in site inspections with high profile tours by management.

• Liaise with managers and supervisors regarding health and safety matters.

• Deal with Nonconformities and Corrective actions, and its documentation.

• Prepare periodic HSE statistics reports.

• Accident investigation, reporting and recommendation, follow up procedures and back up training.

• Conduct emergency drills and participate Client/Main Contractor HSE meetings and Site Inspections
