• Execute Flight Dispatch and Flight Watch activities throughout the Kuwait network and maintain (OTP) On Time Performance on daily basis

• Organizes and controls the shift to ensure professional assistance to Pilot in command to exercise operational control of the flight with safety, efficiency and economy.

• Develop, review, authorize issue and revise as required, the Operational Flight Plan for all scheduled and non-scheduled flights, inclusive of training and test flight operations, with regards to Safety, Regulatory, Customer Service, and Corporate fiscal requirements

• Managing Flight Dispatch activities, and ensuring a system wide basis is compliant with regulatory requirements. Maintain liaison with government authorities, airport management, air traffic control, MET office, IOCC, crew resource and Flight operations engineering, ATM, overflight team and other agencies to expedite the functions and operations related to flight dispatch and safety.

• Ensure flight planning activities are carried out in the most professional, efficient and cost effective manner, while safety is never compromised. Also make sure that decisions are well thought of and effectively communicated to concerned parties.

• Support IOCC (Integrated Operational Control Center) representatives in decision making by providing payload, cost and fuel analysis. Analyzing operational conditions and identifying any opportunities that may constrain, impede or benefit operational capabilities inclusive of, but not limited to, weather, facilities, Air Traffic Control, NOTAM and aircraft performance

• Coordinate with Maintenance Control and the pilot-in-command, regarding aircraft deviations from standards, which may limit or impact flight operational capabilities, and communicate any operational limitations to the OCC and other agencies as required.

• Manage/calculate performance take-off, landing, en-route for fleet and coordinate with flight operations engineering for the update on performance tools OPT/LPC, engine out procedures, drift down/decompression procedures and ensure all tools/information are upto-date.

• Coordinate with the performance engineering team in case of NOTAM on obstacle/runway shortening/Navigation capability downgrade affecting aircraft performance.

• Perform a route study on a daily basis on critical flights (flight time/payload) by checking multiple flight planning options in order to optimize payload/manage flight time.

• Coordinate with the fuel optimization team to keep aircrafts degradation factors up to date in coordination with the flight operations team.

• Solve other departments queries related to flight dispatch/flight watch and aircraft performance related issues.

• Monitor flight watch activities across the network on flight watch tools (Aircom server) Pakistan International Airlines Experience:

• Maintain updated knowledge on technical bulletins and company policy concerning flight dispatch, route Manuals revisions, ATS procedures.

• Computes the company flight plan giving due consideration to such factors as meteorological Conditions, aircraft performance capabilities, reroute facilities, safety, and economy and company Policy.

• Performs crew briefing and debriefing on weather conditions en-route and at destination/alternate and on availability/serviceability of Radio Navigation and approach aids.

• Schedule and respective changes through AIMS for smooth operation.
