Conduct home visits with in 6- 12 days post delivery and up to six weeks post delivery.
Carry out detailed physical assessment of client at six weeks to assess if the clients anatomy and physiology has returned to prepregnant state.
Assess the clients nutritional needs and offer counselling and nutritional education or refer if the clients condition warrants.
Assess for warning signs in the postnatal period.
Assist the client with cord care and maintenance of baby’s warmth and educate about routine essentials of newborn care.
Provide a support group for all delivered clients where their concerns or complaint can be addressed in a timely and confidential manner
Provide 24 hour on call service to client and their families.
Verse in the care of the client pre and post Cesarean section.
Counsel order and administer hormonal oral and injectable contraceptives and intrauterine device (copper T) and manage possible complications.
Well Child Clinics
Assess children ages six weeks months to six years of age for achievement of milestone parameters.

Assess for speech, vision, behavioural, hearing complications and refer if same is present.
