I have owned my own lawn care business since I was 16 years old. I have approximately 600 customers. I also have 7 contract workers. Being the owner of the company, I am responsible for communicating with my customers and making sure that they are happy with the work we do for them. I also make appointments, keep up with the bookkeeping of my business, making sure the equipment is running well and I also do some lawn care myself. My business does all types of landscape work from cutting, edging and weed eating to pine straw and planting flowers and trees.

I would create excel spreadsheets, enter data for journal entries and create tax returns. I would enter tax planning information into Drake software along with tax returns for clients. I would also meet and discuss tax information with our clients and I would enter bank statements and journal entries for companies in Quickbooks.

I was responsible for setting up tables and preparing food and drinks. I would wash all dishes and drive the Box trucks to all events.
