PROJECT DETAILS

GESTURE BASED CONTROL ROBOT. THE ACCELEROMETER DETECTS MOVEMENT AND WIRELESSLY OPERATE ROBOT USING THE RF433 MODULE Description: The motivation of this work is to provide easy to use medical assistance for those who are specially abled with a gesture controlled various types of medical assistance system.

Although the scope of this work is not limited to only the medical field, it can be used in the military field and heavy industry. As discussed before, any artificial medical assistance should be easy to use and Our work fulfils both the criteria. Previously several works were reported on automated wheelchairs with gesture control but so far no work has been done using ArduinoLilypad, Rf 433 module. Components used in our project

● RF 433 Module (Transmitter, Receiver,Range-300m) RF module is a combination of RF transmitter and Receiver.The transmitter/Receiver (Tx/Rx) pair operates at a frequency of 433MHz.

● L293DNE –IC ( 16 pin Motor driver IC)

L293D is a typical Driver IC which allows a DC motor to drive in either direction. L293D is a 16 pin IC which control a set of two DC motor simultaneously in any direction .it mean that you can control two DC motor with a single L293D IC.Dual H-bridge motor Drive integrated circuit (IC)

● Accelerometer ADXL335(3.6v, Sensing range - 3g) ADXL335 is a small,low power,complete 3- axis accelerometer with signal conditioned voltage output. It can measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt sensing application as well as dynamic vibration.

● ArduinoLilypad

Arduino lilypad is an arduino main board that is designed for wearable projects .It works similar to arduino .Arduino lilypad in around shape it could fit easily in a wearable.

● Stepper Motor and wheel

Stepper motor is an electric motor that rotates by performing steps.

● Battery 12v

● Arduino Software.
