Work Experience as a Nurse Practitioner

Brightview Healthcare October 2020- present

Brightview Healthcare is an addiction treatment center that helps clients to achieve their recovery goals using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, and medication assisted treatment. The medication used is based on the client’s needs and goals. Medications used in the treatment of opiate use disorder are Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade and Vivitrol.

Nurse Practitioner office responsibilities include

●Telehealth appointments as needed.

●Review lab results with client.

●Make referrals as needed for primary care or mental health treatment.

●Work collaboratively with counselors, physicians, and other staff members.

Meridian Health April 2020-October, 2020

Meridian Health is an addiction treatment center that treats clients with substance use disorder including drugs and alcohol.

●The center offers counseling, medication assisted treatment(MAT),inpatient

residential treatment and detox.

●Medications used to treat opiate

addiction includes Buprenorphine,

Methadone, Vivitrol, and

Sublocade.

●Medications used to treat alcoholism include, Vivitrol injection or Naltrexone

tablets.

●Preformed blood draws on admission into the program

●Preform annual physicals for clients in the MAT program

●Oversee infectious disease compliancy throughout the organization
