Sr. Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (Automation) Facilities - Field – “On-Site” Reliability Engineer/Project Manager;

Facility Engineering – South Peace River – North Montney District/Region; (Contract Position);

One year, contract position to plan, manage and execute a number of small to large sized EI&C projects, some non-Ei&C projects (new H2S incinerator project, etc.) and to provide ongoing local EI&C engineering support for approximately 11 gas plants and 3 compressor stations in the North Montney and South Peace River Arch District (Montney, Duverney formations) of British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. These midstream and pipeline assets, now owned and operated by NorthRiver Midstream (Brookfield Infrastructure), are some of the former assets of Murphy Oil, Enbridge, and Spectra Energy in the South Peace/Montney Area.

Monitored the performance and technical quality of work from the project EPC contractors and their construction sub-contractors.

Coordinated and communicated various issues among the Company’s and Contractors engineering team that affected the discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work.

Evaluated and commented on the design and work performed by the Contractor and their Sub-contractors to ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company (ARAMCO) standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes the review of discipline design drawings and documents.

Participated, monitored and officially witnessed EI&C design, construction, testing, commissioning, start-up and/or operational activities on behalf of the client (KJO), performed by the prime engineering contractor (JGC of Japan / Korea) and their approved Saudi based sub-contractors (ARCC, Sedan), including a major Rockwell Automation / Honeywell DCS expansion/upgrade.

Investigated, trouble-shooted, coordinated and/or and solved EI&C design and operational (OT) issues in the plant as they arose.

Considerable High Voltage/Medium Voltage (Power Generation, Substation, MV Contactors, MV VFD/ASD’s, HV/LV Protection and Control) technology exposure (design review/audit, testing, commissioning) on this project, (GE, Rockwell Automation/A-B, Eaton, ABB gear) and considerable experience solving hydrocarbon level control problems, on four natural gas dryers on this site, (involving hardware from
