Pre-Authorizations
As a pre-auth representative I worked with all insurances to make sure that all the patients’ procedures were authorized. I also informed patients of their financial responsibility. I maintained the billing records, collection of payments and I followed through on all accounts from beginning to end. In the clinic I worked with five physicians, making sure their procedures were authorized and paperwork completed in time for surgery. I also helped at the front desk answering phones, scheduling patients and taking messages for the nurses and doctors.
Supervising
Managed a team of 20 employees. I coached them for success, I ensured quality customer service from each team member. I held meetings giving feedback, expectations and monthly goal setting.
