Assist the doctor for the procedures and Colonoscopy (Variceal ligation, Foreign body removal, Cauterization) etc.

Proper suctioning of the patient to avoid blockage of endotracheal tubes and to check for humidification.
If there is alarm, check for blockage or any disorder for the machine.
Keep ready ambubag, oxygen with connection in case of emergency.
Maintain personnel hygiene of the patients, care of NGT, gastrostomy tubes and other drainage tubes.
Frequent change of positions to prevent pressure from pressure areas to give back care to improve blood circulation.
Care of ET tube, tracheostomy and surgical dressing.
Giving medicines according to doctor’s order and with Eight Rights.
Early weaning of patient from ventilator, serving food according to the diagnosis and condition of patient.
