Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for all metallic and non metallic piping fabrication and construction activities through Contractor's the supervision in respect of HSE, method working practices quality and timely execution of the works,

Responsible in steel Piping, Pipeline, Fabrication, Planning, Erection and Rigging, Hydro and, Preparation of “AS BUILT” drawings Pre-Commissioning and punch list closing, preparation for commissioning & RFO (Ready for Operation),

Review of Project specification PEFS, ISOMETRIC,GENERAL ARRANGEMENT PLAN, P&ID and TEST PACKS,

Handling all FIBER piping technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems including the drawing of field sketches when necessary,

Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the Client on detail engineering requirements,

Raising MTO(s) (material turnover) for all materials required to additional materials for hydro test etc,

Responsible for Piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule Procedures, Specifications, Priorities and Availability of Construction Drawings,

Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by subordinates. Coordinate with other Disciplines in site,

Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports,

Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming design drawings and standard requirements,

Responsible for counter checking by Isometric/Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness,

Preparation of “AS BUILT” drawings,

Preparation of field piping system test packages,including system limit on P&ID and piping Isometrics,

Responsible for carrying out Mechanical Clearance, Conducting Hydro and Conduct safety walk through at site in co-ordination with the safety department on weekly basis.

Prepare daily reports of work progress and man power utilization.

Prepare weekly reports of the total spool erection, isometric weight installed welded inches and the remaining work front with the materials available.

Cooperate in elaboration of request reports of work progress and man power utilization.

Supervision of all piping works and ensures safety and quality standards of TR.

Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details.

Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and supports, prior to hydro test and prepare punch list for incomplete works, check and closing after the work is done.

Conduct safety walk through in the site in co-ordination with the safety department on weekly basis.

Co-ordinate with the sub contractors to achieve the tar gate and schedule set by the planning.

Provide technical and operative information in order to support the PTW process collaborates with Issuing Authority Person Responsible Area in PTW team.

Liaising on regular basis with Material Supervisor in order to check materials availability according with project schedule.

Support the hand over process to Operation actively expediting the punch list closure by Contractor
